I have the BATC's cd reporting Galarza and the RIAL '200 Tangos en MP3 Vol.1' reporting Scalon.
On https://tango.info/eng/02480002006145-1-3 is reported that in the CTA-614 the singer is Luis Scalon. The same is reported in other cd (TodoTangoClub TTC 002 Los estribillistas). So the question is open! Sorry!

BATC says it is Galarza, some others says 'unknown'. I tried to compare the voice with other recordings, but I am not able to distinguish enough to make statement. So... Are you sure? :-)

Seems to me that the singer of 'Sandia calada' by Anselmo Aieta is Luis Scalon and non José Galarza.
